The fellowship is given to individuals of outstanding performance and achievements in the fields of Photography. Any photographer who is interested in the activities and ideology of BAF and PHOTOMUSE can apply for the fellowship. Fellowship is for life.
Details of application.
» The applicant should have at least ten years experience in photography (attach self attested letter to this effect)
» The applicant should have participated in group/solo exhibitions/conferences/camps at least on five occasions ( Mention the occasions with place and year)
» The applicant should be actively involved in his/ her chosen genre of photography at present.

» Qualification and Job ( a formal qualification is not compulsory )
» Achievements in the concerned fields
» Every applicant should send, along with his/her application, at least twenty of his/her photographs as prints or 50 digital images (High quality JPEG or TIFF at least 10MB size). The prints can be Gelatin Silver Prints or Archival quality Pigment prints of width at least 8 inches and length at least 10 inches. Photographers working on Alternative Processes (like Platinum – Palladium, Cyanotypes, Tintypes etc.) can submit works of any size. The works will be evaluated by our jury on their concept, originality and technical quality. The deserving applicants will be awarded with the Fellowship and a certificate. The Foundation and the jury reserves the right to decline Fellowship temporarily if they are not satisfied with the applicants’ work. The same person can reapply with a fresh set of work.
» The work of the selected applicants will not be returned. These selected prints will be added to the museum collection and used for exhibitions. BAF and the Museum reserves the right to use these prints for art promotional activities and exhibitions. In any case, the prints will carry prominently the name and address of the artist / photographer so that the art buyers and connoisseurs can directly contact them. The BAF and the Museum will not and has no right to use these prints for commercial purposes. We respect the copyright of the Photographer.
» You can prepare the application form on a white paper (any number of sheets) in the above format and send it to the Director of PHOTOMUSE along with the Demand Draft / crossed cheque/ money order worth Rs.10,000 ( $200 or equivalent for overseas applicants) drawn in favor of PHOTOMUSE payable at Thrissur.

Privileges of Fellows
» He / She is entitled to use the title “PHOTOMUSE Fellow” or FBAF ( Fellow of Better Art Foundation) with his / her name.
» He / She will receive a Certificate of Fellowship to display at his office or residence.
» Special Invitee to all the Exhibitions of Art and Photography.
» Invitee to all the activities of the Foundation including contests.
» Honorary PHOTOMUSE membership and subscription to PHOTOMUSE Journal for 2 years.
» A personal gallery in the website as long as s/he maintains PhotoMuse Membership active.
