Chembuchira Temple is a century old place of worship where Shiva is the Presiding Deity. Its festival – the Pooram – is one of the best known Poorams in Kerala, southern India. The current exhibition features a selection of photographs made by a group of local photographers who is trying to document and interpret the culture and happenings of the pooram while giving significance to the colours and customs associated with the festival.
