The Belfoca camera was manufactured by Belca-Werk Company from c.1950 to 1956. A vertical folding camera capable of capturing 6 x 9 cm exposures on 120 roll film. It could be used with a mask for 6 x 6 cm exposures. The frame finder, the optional accessory brilliant finder and the shutter release button on top were further features to make this camera user-friendly. It was so popular that Feinmess in Freital started making camera lenses because other makers like Ludwig and Meyer had difficulties in supplying enough lenses. Features included depth of field scale, built-in flash synchronization, delayed action timer, body shutter release, eye-level and waist-level finders, manual focusing.
