The Rolleicord III was produced from 1950 – 1953, by Franke & Heidecke and later on by Rollei-Werke in Braunschweig, Germany. It is a medium format TLR camera that uses 120 film. Twelve 6×6 cm square images can be captured for each roll of 120 film. There is also a Plate adapter available which gives one 6×6 image on a 6.5x9cm size glass plate or film sheet. The camera is equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 1:3.5 75 mm lens. The viewing lens is a Heidoscop 1:3.2 75mm.
