He was trained in sculptural practices with traditional craftsmen. His works have been shown at Arco, Madrid; MOCA, Shanghai; CCCB, Barcelona; Chicago Art Fair, Newark Museum; Sharjah Museum, Sharjah Biennale, and The Indian Highway show at Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo, Norway. Through his large-format works, Vivek examines contemporary social structures and cultural history to raise questions about global change and cultural transmigration.
