Polaroid introduced the Spectra system of cameras in the early 1980s.\u00a0It was an all-new line of cameras and had a corresponding new film.\u00a0Spectra film image format is a rectangular\u00a09.2 x 7.3cm rather than 600 film&#8217;s square format.\u00a0 Most of the models utilize an arc-shaped range of focusing lenses inside the body that swing across the exterior lens element to provide correct focusing\u00a0rather than adjusting the distance between internal lens elements.\u00a0It takes higher-quality pictures, due to the camera&#8217;s higher build quality and a proportionally larger print area.<\/p>\n<p>Polaroid ProCam\u00a0<em>(<\/em>\u00a0<em>Year: 1996<\/em><em>)<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>has a sideways folding mechanism and folding viewfinder mechanism. Lens: 90mm lens &#8211; shorter than any other Spectra model made &#8211; giving a wider field of view roughly equivalent to 33mm in 35mm film format. Time\/date stamp capability, autofocus, lighten\/darken control, and was sold with a close-up lens attachment.\u00a0It features a durable strap for comfortable one-handed operation.
